On a recent episode of The Graham Norton Show, actor Alexander Skarsgård shared a memorable, albeit one-sided, encounter with veteran actress Miriam Margolyes. Skarsgård had to remind Margolyes that they had met before, to which she initially had no memory of him.
Skarsgård recalled Margolyes potentially looking for a tenant for her Santa Monica condo years ago. He admitted to feeling a "strong sexual connection" at the time but decided against renting, fearing it could become "messy." Margolyes, 84 and openly gay with a partner of 58 years, humorously dismissed his recollection, stating she was "talking out of your bottom."
Despite Margolyes's forgetfulness, Skarsgård insisted they had a pleasant afternoon together. The lighthearted exchange also involved Bridgerton actress Nicola Coughlan, who jokingly declared Margolyes her mother, leading Skarsgård to playfully claim he was Coughlan's father.
