House of the Dragon Star Soars as Supergirl

Milly Alcock, initially recognized for her impactful portrayal of Rhaenyra Targaryen in HBO's "House of the Dragon," has landed a colossal role outside of Australia. The actress, who auditioned remotely from Sydney for the "Game of Thrones" prequel, quickly became a fan favorite as the young dragon-riding princess. Her performance in the first half of the season garnered significant attention, paving the way for her next major venture.

This critical acclaim led James Gunn and the DC Studios team to cast Alcock as Kara Zor-El, famously known as Supergirl. This marks Alcock's first film role and will be featured in an upcoming DCU movie.
