Summary
- Teller admits the 2015 Fantastic Four film was not great
- He says one "important person" was responsible for the movie's failure
- Teller is disappointed as the film was a chance for young actors to be seen as leading men

According to a recent interview, actor Miles Teller has opened up about the struggles behind the 2015 Fantastic Four film. Teller, who starred in the superhero movie, admitted that the film was not well-received, saying "your eyes were working during that time" when host Andy Cohen asked if he knew it would flop.
Teller expressed disappointment, noting that at the time, young actors needed to play a superhero role to "be taken seriously as a leading man." He believed the Fantastic Four casting was "spectacular," but the final product was panned by critics, currently holding a nine percent score on Rotten Tomatoes.
While Teller did not name the individual, he suggested that "one really important person" was responsible for the movie's failure. This likely refers to director Josh Trank, who had publicly stated that a "fantastic version" of the film would never be seen.
Despite the Fantastic Four disappointment, Teller's career has continued to thrive. He is set to star alongside Elizabeth Olsen in the upcoming romantic comedy Eternity, which is slated for release on November 26th.
