Victoria was exploring historic ruins at Fort Dade on Egmont Key, an island near Tampa Bay, Florida, when she suffered fatal injuries from a fall. Friends immediately attempted to provide aid and called 911, with rescue efforts complicated by the location. Victoria was airlifted to a hospital but succumbed to her injuries two days later.

The Giudice family, including Milania's parents Joe and Teresa Giudice and sisters Gia and Audriana, have all shared messages honoring Victoria. Milania expressed deep sorrow, calling Victoria her "best friend" and "sister." Joe Giudice shared his grief, noting that Victoria, a neighbor's daughter, had become like family and that her loss at such a young age is heartbreaking.
