The festival specifically acknowledges his pioneering formats and seamless transition from animation to live-action projects.
This prestigious award recognizes Judge's profound impact on animation and U.S. pop culture. Festival artistic director Marcel Jean highlighted Judge as a "cultural icon" who has created "legendary characters" and influenced "two generations of creators." A special segment during the festival will feature a screening of "King of the Hill" Season 15 and a signing session, celebrating the enduring legacy of his work.
