Singer Mika Singh recently shared amusing anecdotes about pranks orchestrated by Daler Mehndi, including one involving Amitabh Bachchan. During the shoot for Daler Mehndi's iconic song 'Na Na Na Na Re,' Mika, then a young musician, was tricked into believing food served on set was a special delivery from Jaya Bachchan. This was revealed to be a prank by Mehndi.
Years later, after Mika's songs gained popularity, he managed to get Amitabh Bachchan's contact and sent him song links. After a six-month wait, he received a simple "Good" reply, which he celebrated exuberantly. Daler Mehndi then intervened, impersonating Bachchan on a phone call, leading Mika to believe he was speaking with the real star, thus stopping his messages.
Later, at a song premiere, Amitabh Bachchan himself approached Mika, inquiring why he had stopped sending messages. Mika recounted this experience on the 18th season of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati,' highlighting his enduring connection with Bachchan and the memorable pranks from Mehndi.
