Micro-artist Dr Willard Wigan has meticulously crafted a miniature sculpture of Tommy Shelby, the iconic character from Peaky Blinders. This remarkable feat of tiny artistry occupied Wigan for four full weeks.
The 68-year-old artist, who hails from Wolverhampton, used his own eyelash as a paintbrush to bring the detailed artwork to life. The sculpture portrays the famous character in motion, riding a horse.
Wigan expressed his motivation for the piece, stating it was created for the people of the West Midlands, citing his admiration for the distinctive style and enigmatic nature of the Peaky Blinders. The artwork is currently exhibited at Halesowen's Cornbow Centre.
Alongside 19 other microsculptures, the tiny Tommy Shelby is on display to the public. Importantly, all proceeds generated from the exhibition will be donated to a local dog rescue charity, adding a charitable element to the artistic showcase.
