Micky Dolenz Celebrates 60 Years of The Monkees with Nationwide Tour

In 2025, Micky Dolenz, the last surviving member of the beloved 1960s band The Monkees, is set to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the group with a new nationwide tour. The tour, which kicks off on February 12 in Solana Beach, California and wraps up on November 6 in Northfield, Ohio, will "take audiences on a joyful, musical journey through the Monkees' history," according to a press release.

Dolenz, who has been involved in every Monkees project over the past six decades, will perform the band's hits in chronological order, from their chart-topping classics to the fan favorites. He will also share his personal stories and memories, providing a unique and intimate look into the Monkees' legacy.

"I've spent nearly my entire life either in front of or behind the cameras or microphones," Dolenz said in a statement. "Much of what I've been able to share with the world has come from this thing called 'The Monkees' - this wacky musical-comedy TV show about a band struggling for success. Interestingly, on the show, the Monkees never actually made it. Off-screen, however, we sold out concerts all over the world."

The tour will also feature a special concert on September 12, the exact 60th anniversary of the Monkees' television show premiere, at a yet-to-be-announced venue in Los Angeles. Dolenz, the voice behind hits like "I'm a Believer," "(I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone," and "Pleasant Valley Sunday," is the only member of the band to participate in every project over the past six decades, making this tour a must-see for Monkees fans.
