Singer-songwriter Michelle Branch is commemorating the 25th anniversary of her debut album, 'The Spirit Room.' She is releasing an EP titled 'Everywhere and Back Again,' featuring reimagined versions of her popular songs by various artists.
This EP signifies Branch's first release under her new label, BMG, with a full project slated for November 6. A newly recorded version of her 2002 hit "The Game of Love," co-written by New Radicals' Gregg Alexander, is available now.
Branch also announced an 18-date U.S. tour scheduled for the fall. She described the anniversary project as a way to generate excitement for her past work while also signaling a new chapter in her career.
Gregg Alexander, who co-wrote "The Game of Love," shared insights into the song's journey. Initially passed on by several artists, it was eventually recorded by Santana and became a Grammy-winning hit. Alexander's collaboration with Branch on the new version brings the song full circle for both artists.
