Oscar Winner Michael B. Jordan's 'Crown Affair' Teaser Arrives

Academy Award winner Michael B. Jordan makes his directorial mark again with the teaser trailer for The Thomas Crown Affair, a heist drama slated for a March 5, 2027, theatrical release. Jordan not only directs but also stars as Thomas Crown, a billionaire who orchestrates the theft of a priceless artifact. The film is described as a sensual and emotional thriller, focusing on the danger of the unseen.

The narrative follows Crown as he commits the art heist while authorities are distracted, leading to a pursuit by an relentless insurance investigator, portrayed by Adria Arjona. The cast also boasts talents like Kenneth Branagh, Lily Gladstone, Danai Gurira, and Pilou Asbæk. This project represents Jordan's second directorial feature, following Creed III, and is considered a passion project years in the making, aiming for a reimagining rather than a direct remake of the iconic story.

Jon Batiste has composed the film's score, including a rendition of "The Windmills of Your Mind." Filming took place in London.
