Michael Angelis, a familiar voice from the beloved Thomas & Friends franchise, was also a prominent television actor. Helen Worth portrayed Gail Platt for 50 years, retiring in 2024 after approximately 4,472 episodes. While Worth and Angelis married in 1991, their union ended in 2001 following Angelis's confession of an affair. Despite their separation, they maintained a friendship until his passing on May 30, 2020, due to a heart attack.
