Metallica Rocks Sydney Harbour with Family and Friends

On November 18, 2025, just days after completing a triumphant Australian tour, members of the iconic metal band Metallica were spotted enjoying a relaxing day on the waters of Sydney Harbour. Frontman James Hetfield, drummer Lars Ulrich, guitarist Kirk Hammett, and bassist Robert Trujillo set sail aboard the luxurious superyacht Seven Star, accompanied by friends, family, and members of the support band Suicidal Tendencies.

The group, which included Trujillo's son Tye, who was on bass duties for Suicidal Tendencies, as well as Hetfield's partner Adriana Gillett and Trujillo's wife Chloe, appeared to be in high spirits as they soaked up the sun on the harbor. Hetfield, 62, embraced his rocker style, wearing a Waylon Jennings t-shirt, black jeans, and a trucker cap, while Adriana, 45, looked effortlessly stylish in a flowing satin playsuit.

Trujillo, 61, also came boat-ready in a white t-shirt, Nike shorts, and a light blue cap, while his wife Chloe, 53, opted for a navy blue jersey and checked pants. The band's iconic drummer Lars, 61, kept it casual in a black t-shirt and chino shorts, while guitarist Kirk Hammett, 62, sported a navy blue collared shirt and red shorts.

The group's relaxing day on the water comes after a successful Australian tour, during which Metallica wowed fans across the country with their electrifying performances. The band's visit to Australia was not without controversy, however, as some concertgoers in Perth allegedly used illegal drugs during the show, drawing criticism from fellow fans.
