Metallica is extending their "Life Burns Faster" residency at the Las Vegas Sphere, adding six new performances due to immense fan interest. This expansion comes shortly after the initial announcement and ticket sales launch. The band expressed surprise and gratitude for the "unbelievable demand" from fans.
The fan club presale for the newly added shows is set to begin on March 4th, offering access to those with Legacy or Fifth Member codes. While specific dates for these extra performances have not yet been revealed, they are expected to be part of the band's No Repeat Weekend concept.
This concept, part of their M72 world tour, ensures a unique setlist for each show, with no songs repeated on consecutive nights. Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich shared his excitement, calling the Sphere "uncharted territory" and a chance to reinvent live performance.
Following successful residencies by other major artists, Metallica will be the first hard rock and metal band to headline at the state-of-the-art venue.
