Melissa Rivers has pinpointed the "nipple" as the most prominent fashion accessory from the 2026 Met Gala. She exclusively told Us Weekly that this body part was the undeniable accessory of the night, noting its frequent appearance. Rivers also discussed the bold "naked dress" trend seen on the Kardashian-Jenner family members, including Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Kris Jenner. Rivers lauded Kylie Jenner's custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown as a spectacular interpretation of the "Costume Art" theme.

Ranking the famous sisters, Rivers placed Kylie Jenner's look at the top, followed by Kendall Jenner, Kris Jenner, and Kim Kardashian. She noted Kendall Jenner's Zac Posen ensemble was "beyond." The 2026 Met Gala, with its "Fashion Is Art" dress code, showcased numerous distinctive and surprising outfits, such as Heidi Klum's statue disguise and Bad Bunny's aged appearance.

Other notable trends included abundant mermaid hair, red, and white ensembles, contributing to an overall pretty aesthetic with "over-the-top" splashes typical of the Met Gala. Rivers also recognized Gabrielle Union, Dwyane Wade, Beyoncé, Blue Ivy Carter, Sabrina Carpenter, and Anne Hathaway among the best dressed.
