- Meri and Janelle discuss their shared property and say Kody is putting Janelle "in the middle"
In a recent episode of the TLC series, Kody Brown's former wives Meri and Janelle engaged in a heated discussion over the sale of their shared Coyote Pass property. Meri, 54, called Kody, 56, "chicken s***" for not speaking to her directly about the sale, claiming he had Janelle, 56, relay the information instead.
Kody later admitted to the cameras that he had "completely upset" Meri and Janelle, saying he didn't know how to handle the situation. Janelle, who separated from Kody in December 2022 after nearly 30 years of marriage, mocked his preference for "submissive, shy and pretty" wives like his remaining spouse, Robyn Brown.
The ex-wives continued their discussion about the Coyote Pass property, with Meri noting that it was "not fair" Kody was putting Janelle "in the middle" of the situation. Janelle claimed she had invited Kody to be part of the conversation, but he refused, saying, "No, I just no, like, I don't really like you."

Both Meri and Janelle expressed a sense of relief in being able to openly discuss their feelings about Kody, with Meri saying, "I'm glad they're both mature enough to be able to just call a spade a spade and just say, 'No, I don't like you.'" The sale of Coyote Pass was described as a "nice parting gift" for Meri and Janelle, as Christine Brown had previously signed over her stake in the land when she divorced Kody in November 2021.
