'Memory of a Killer' Returns for Second Season in 2026-27

Fox has officially renewed its freshman drama, 'Memory of a Killer,' for a second season, scheduled to premiere in the 2026-27 television year. This renewal secures the series, starring Patrick Dempsey, a place on next season's schedule, alongside fellow rookie 'Best Medicine.'

The show, based on a Belgian novel and film, features Dempsey as Angelo, a hitman grappling with memory loss. Michael Imperioli, Joe Ferrara, and Odeya Rush are also part of the ensemble cast. The series has achieved significant viewership, accumulating 16.2 million cross-platform viewers since its January premiere.

Showrunners Aaron Zelman and Glenn Kessler, who took over midway through the first season, will continue their roles for the second. The series is a co-production between Fox and Warner Bros. TV, with both parties expressing excitement for the continuation of Angelo's story.
