Actress Melanie Walters has exited Strictly Come Dancing, having been eliminated after a tense dance-off. Walters and her professional partner, Aljaž Škorjanec, competed against footballer Shaun Wright-Phillips and his partner for a place in the contest.
The judges' decisions were split, with Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse casting votes for different couples. Head judge Shirley Ballas and Anton du Beke ultimately delivered the casting vote, leading to Walters' departure.
Reflecting on her journey, Walters expressed gratitude for an "extra week with this beautiful soul," referring to Škorjanec. He, in turn, lauded her as an "ultimate professional" and thanked her for her hard work and dedication throughout their time on the show.
