In a heartfelt social media post, Meghan Markle's longtime friend, Kelly McKee Zajfen, is celebrating their cherished friendship. Zajfen, the co-founder of the Alliance of Moms, revealed that she and Meghan have been friends for almost 20 years, with the Duchess of Sussex even attending Zajfen's wedding 15 years ago.

Zajfen described Meghan as the "most amazing, nurturing, fun, loving human," adding that she has been by her side, especially since the tragic loss of Zajfen's son, George, in 2022 due to COVID and viral meningitis. To support their grieving friend, Meghan and Prince Harry donated $5,000 to a GoFundMe set up in George's honor.

Zajfen also shared a photo of herself wearing a hat that reads "Lettuce romaine calm," a nod to Meghan's own style. The Duchess of Sussex previously wore a similar cap after it was revealed that a second season of her Netflix series, "With Love, Meghan," was in the works.

In the past year, Meghan has continued to show her unwavering support for Zajfen. The Duchess made a surprise appearance at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles 2024 Gala, walking the green carpet by Zajfen's side in support of the hospital's "extraordinary care" for Georgie's twin sister, Lily. Meghan and Harry also attended the George Zajfen Tennis Tournament in Los Angeles, an event honoring Zajfen's late son and benefiting the Alliance for Children's Rights.
