Former "Suits" showrunners are reportedly prepared to offer Meghan Markle a substantial deal to reprise her role as Rachel Zane. This potential acting comeback follows news of her upcoming film "Close Personal Friends" and another prior acting engagement before her family's relocation to the U.K. Her return to full-time acting is seen by "Suits" franchise insiders as a gateway to numerous possibilities, including a potential movie continuation or an entirely new series.
Meghan starred in "Suits" for seven seasons until her departure in 2017. The legal drama experienced a significant surge in popularity on Netflix during the pandemic. While a "Suits" return is an exciting prospect, the source notes that luring her back to the U.S. for filming remains a complex issue. Successfully navigating this challenge could pave the way for reviving the original series.
