Mom of Three Temporarily Loses Kids Amid Medication Claims

Former reality star Meghan King recently celebrated her daughter Aspen's ninth birthday, a bittersweet occasion following a temporary loss of custody of her three children. The children, including twins Hart and Hayes, were removed from King's care due to serious allegations.

Sources indicate the custody change occurred in late October after King allegedly gave Ritalin to one of her sons on multiple occasions without a medical prescription. She is also accused of asking a school nurse to administer the medication, which prompted a report to Child Protective Services and an investigation.

Following the investigation, the children's guardian ad litem filed for a temporary restraining order. King now has supervised visitation rights, and her ex-husband, Jim Edmonds, has been granted sole physical custody. A future court hearing will determine the permanence of this arrangement.
