Pokémon GO Unleashes Mega Camerupt Raids with Exclusive Rewards

On September 28, 2025, Pokémon GO players will have the opportunity to participate in a special Mega Raid event featuring the debut of Mega Camerupt. The Mega Raids will be available from 2 PM to 5 PM local time, giving trainers a limited window to challenge this fiery Pokémon.

Mega Camerupt is a Fire/Ground-type, making it extremely vulnerable to Water-type attacks. Trainers are advised to prioritize Water-type Pokémon with strong moves like Hydro Cannon and Surf to counter Mega Camerupt effectively. Ground-type attackers can also be used, though they are less effective.

In addition to the Mega Raids, the event will offer several exclusive perks. Trainers can expect boosted shiny odds for Camerupt, allowing them to hunt for the rare variant. They will also have access to extra raid passes, both free and paid, to maximize their participation during the three-hour window. Other rewards include increased chances of Rare Candy XL and double Stardust from raids.

While Mega Camerupt may not be a top-tier competitive option, its debut in Pokémon GO is sure to generate excitement among collectors and raid enthusiasts. The event presents an opportunity for trainers to add this unique Mega Evolution to their teams and farm Mega Energy for future use.
