Medway Man Tackles Apprentice Challenge

Rajan Gill, a specialist from Medway, is preparing to compete on The Apprentice, seeking to become Lord Alan Sugar's next business partner. Gill's business focuses on mounting televisions and constructing bespoke media walls, with a strategic emphasis on new-build properties.

He highlights his diverse experience, spanning pharmaceuticals and construction, which he believes gives him insight into "both sides of business - the boardroom and the physical graft." Gill expressed his excitement and honour in representing his hometown, stating, "To be able to represent Kent and Medway itself is just mind-blowing."

Originally working in pharmaceuticals for six to seven years, Gill developed his TV mounting side hustle in the evenings. This venture grew significantly, enabling him to leave his full-time career and pursue his business full-time. He addresses potential concerns about mounting heavy equipment on plasterboard, assuring it is safe with specialist materials and expertise.

Gill plans to pitch to Lord Sugar the substantial market opportunity in new-builds, with over 200,000 constructed annually, positioning his business as a solution for a common struggle in this sector.
