Max Ehrich Arrested with Nitrous Oxide Canister

Max Ehrich, formerly engaged to singer Demi Lovato, was arrested on August 25. The arrest occurred after police responded to a 911 hang-up call and found Ehrich in bushes at a shopping center in Florida. He was in possession of a large container of nitrous oxide, labeled 'Max Cream Charger,' with the nozzle attached, suggesting recent use.

According to the arrest affidavit, Ehrich appeared "dazed and showed a lack of balance." He told officers he needed medicine but was hesitant to go to his parents' home and denied any intention of self-harm. His parents confirmed to authorities that Ehrich struggles with an addiction to nitrous oxide.

Ehrich was transported to the hospital after stating he felt unwell, and later taken to jail. He was released after posting bond. This incident follows a previous arrest in November 2025 for domestic violence charges, for which he also posted bond.
