The 1975 frontman Matty Healy and model Gabbriette Bechtel exchanged vows yesterday, July 19, 2026, in a private ceremony held in Los Angeles. Representatives for the couple confirmed their marriage, which was attended by family and close friends.
Bechtel, who was engaged to Healy two years ago, revealed their engagement in June 2024. This celebration of their union comes shortly after videos surfaced on social media depicting Healy's reported bachelor party.
These videos showcased Healy engaging with a tribute band performing his band's songs at a Malibu venue on July 14, 2026. The couple was first romantically linked in 2023, a period during which Healy was also rumored to be involved with Taylor Swift.
Swift's subsequent music and performances in summer 2024 appeared to allude to Healy, including a parody of his stage persona. Healy's mother, actress Denise Welch, expressed joy over her son's engagement in a June 2024 Instagram post.
