Matt King, the actor who portrayed Super Hans, has announced the cancellation of his book signing tour and FANE event due to a recent stroke. King, 58, shared his profound disappointment, explaining that his recovery is not progressing quickly enough to allow him to participate in the planned engagements.
This health incident has also impacted the release of the Super Hans audiobook, which is now scheduled for October 29. King confirmed that he is still narrating the audiobook and is enjoying working on it with the character. The hardback and eBook versions are still set for release the following week.
King experienced a rare stroke of the spinal cord in April, which initially caused temporary paralysis. He was hospitalized and has since regained some ability to walk, although he described his legs as feeling very weak. He expressed gratitude for the support and well wishes he has received from fans and hopes to reschedule the tour in the future.
