Matt Damon Reveals Keys to Lasting Marriage

Matt Damon attributes the success of his 21-year marriage to his wife, Luciana, to a deep foundation of love, respect, and trust.

Damon met Luciana in April 2003, and they exchanged vows two years later. Together, they have welcomed three daughters: Isabella, Gia, and Stella. Damon is also a stepfather to Luciana's daughter, Alexia.

Beyond their personal life, the couple shares a professional connection. Luciana has produced Damon's recent films, including "The Instigators" (2024) and the upcoming crime thriller "The Rip" (2026). She is also a partner in Matt and Ben Affleck's production company, Artist's Equity.

Damon noted Luciana's integral role in his creative process over the past 23 years, relying on her insights for his projects. He also observed her independent professional endeavors, such as producing Ben Affleck's directorial project while Damon was working on "The Odyssey."

The family recently supported Damon at the London premiere of "The Odyssey" on July 6, where he stars as Odysseus. The film is scheduled for release in theaters on Thursday, July 16.
