Muse frontman Matt Bellamy has broken his silence regarding his separation from wife Elle Evans, describing the situation as stemming from "unexpected circumstances" that necessitated prioritizing his children and home stability. The 48-year-old musician revealed that he channeled these intense emotions into Muse's upcoming album, 'The Wow! Signal.'

Bellamy explained that the album's creation was a cathartic experience, referring to it as potentially his easiest to make. While written amidst a "life-changing experience," he has since moved on, though some songs, like 'Shimmering Scars' and 'Space Debris,' remain emotionally challenging. Other tracks, such as 'Nightshift Superstar,' recall fond memories like attending Burning Man with his ex.

In addition to discussing his personal life and music, Bellamy's past relationship with actress Kate Hudson was also referenced. Hudson, who shares 14-year-old son Bingham with Bellamy, spoke on a podcast about their close coparenting dynamic, expressing love for Bellamy, his wife, and their children. She characterized their past relationship as not being the "right fit," despite efforts to make it work.
