CBS Reopens David Del Rio Sexual Assault Investigation

CBS Studios has reopened its investigation into a sexual assault allegation against actor David Del Rio, who starred in the series 'Matlock.' The studio is taking a second look at the claims made by a co-star.

Del Rio was reportedly removed from the Paramount lot and dismissed from the show shortly after the accusation surfaced in October. Despite his prior removal, the investigation has been reactivated, with new interviews conducted, including with Del Rio and his legal counsel.

The actor has consistently denied the allegations. While his character has been written off the series, production for 'Matlock' has continued following a planned hiatus. The reopened investigation remains ongoing.
