The first trailer for "Masters of the Universe" has been released, showcasing Prince Adam's return to a shattered Eternia. Separated for 15 years, Adam is guided by the Sword of Power to reclaim his world from the fiendish Skeletor, played by Jared Leto.
To save his family and home, Prince Adam must unite with his allies, Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba). He will embrace his destiny as He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe.
Directed by Travis Knight, the film features a notable cast including Alison Brie and Kristen Wiig. The "Masters of the Universe" project has had a lengthy development process, reportedly beginning in 2007 with multiple script rewrites before its greenlight.
