Galitzine's Vision: Lundgren Joins New He-Man

Nicholas Galitzine, who portrays Prince Adam/He-Man in the new Masters of the Universe, suggested bringing original star Dolph Lundgren into the film. Director Travis Knight confirmed that Lundgren indeed makes a brief appearance, integrated into a montage showing Adam's daily life on Earth.

The cameo occurs during a scene set at a gym, where Adam encounters Lundgren's character, 'Macho-Man.' Lundgren imparts wisdom about manhood and self-awareness, offering advice to Adam. This interaction was significant, with Galitzine viewing it as a special 'passing of the torch' moment.

Knight explained that while the scene was initially longer, it was condensed to fit the movie's pacing. He expressed excitement about having both cinematic He-Men together. Galitzine noted the meta quality of the scene, especially when he later echoes Lundgren's advice in his war seminar.
