Hollywood Stars Revive Maserati's Racing Legacy

Hollywood's biggest names are lending their talents to "Maserati: The Brothers," a new biopic detailing the storied past of the famed Italian car marque. Stars like Al Pacino and Anthony Hopkins are featured in the film, which tells the tale of the Maserati brothers.

Directed by Robert Moresco, the movie focuses on Alfieri, Bindo, and Carlo Maserati's drive to achieve a groundbreaking victory at the Indianapolis 500. The brand's actual triumphs in the event during 1939 and 1940 form a pivotal part of the historical narrative.

Al Pacino portrays businessman Vincenzo Vaccaro, a key supporter and early investor in the Maserati family's automotive dynasty. Anthony Hopkins also appears as an early backer, further cementing the film's star-studded cast and its focus on the brand's influential figures.

The production boasts significant Oscar-laden talent, including Pacino and Hopkins, both recipients of Academy Awards. Director Robert Moresco previously won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for "Crash."
