The fashion brand Frances Valentine has launched a new, limited-edition collection that pays tribute to the legendary Mary Tyler Moore. The capsule, inspired by Moore's distinctive style, includes 19 pieces such as shirts, dresses, tote bags, and shoes.
Prices for the collection vary, starting at $48 for a makeup clutch and extending to $498 for wool peacoats. The line was developed in partnership with the Mary Tyler Moore Vision Initiative, an organization dedicated to preserving and restoring vision for those with diabetes.
This initiative holds particular significance as Mary Tyler Moore was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in the 1960s. Following her passing in 2017, her husband, Dr. S. Robert Levine, established the Vision Initiative.
Fashion enthusiasts can find pieces reminiscent of Moore's memorable on-screen and red-carpet looks, including a hat featured on her namesake series and a gown styled after her Academy Awards attire. A portion of the proceeds from this collaboration will directly support the vision initiative.
