Over a decade after his breakthrough hit "Animals," Dutch DJ Martin Garrix is launching his first pop album, titled 'MARTY.' This 14-track project, set for release on March 5, 2027, marks Garrix's debut in front of the microphone.
Garrix described the album as being about growth and moving through life's chapters. The title 'MARTY' pays homage to his early DJ alias, DJ Marty. The album's narrative begins with 'Catharina,' a tribute to his mother, with each song representing a subsequent stage in his life's story.
'MARTY' boasts an impressive lineup of collaborators, including Madonna, U2, Ed Sheeran, and Aitana. Garrix has previously worked with Sheeran and U2 this year on tracks like "Repeat It" and "Fireflies." The album's latest single is "This Dream of You."
Garrix is currently on his Martin Garrix Americas Tour. The tour's next leg commences on October 31, visiting cities across Central and South America before concluding at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami from March 26-28, 2027.
