The premiere of "Marshals," the new "Yellowstone" spinoff airing on CBS, garnered an impressive 9.5 million viewers on Sunday night. This launch also marked the most-watched new series debut of the 2025-2026 broadcast season and was the top-rated program overall for the week of February 23 to March 1. In comparison, CBS's other Sunday night offerings included "60 Minutes" with 7.2 million viewers and "Tracker" with 8.3 million.
The series' premiere outshone competitor networks, with CBS holding a 171% lead over ABC's viewership that night. "Marshals" is the first broadcast entry in the "Yellowstone" franchise. Actor Luke Grimes reprises his role as Kayce Dutton in this series, focusing on an elite U.S. Marshals unit.
