Marrakech Film Fest Announces Impressive 2025 Lineup

The Marrakech Film Festival, set to take place from November 28 to December 6, 2025, has announced an impressive lineup of conversations and panels for this year's edition. The festival will host talks with renowned actors and directors, including Jodie Foster, Guillermo del Toro, and Bong Joon Ho, who will serve as the jury president.
Other notable participants include "The Matrix" actor Laurence Fishburne, "Blonde" director Andrew Dominik, and this year's Palme d'Or winner, Jafar Panahi. The festival will also feature discussions with Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences CEO Bill Kramer, Bollywood director Karan Johan, and several other acclaimed filmmakers and actors from around the world.
Two panel discussions have been revealed, the first of which will feature French-Belgian actor Virginie Efira, who won the César Award for best actress, and Italian-French actor and singer Chiara Mastroianni, who won the Un Certain Regard best actress award at Cannes. The second panel will bring together director Asmae El Moudir, who won the Un Certain Regard award for best director at Cannes, and "A Way Home" helmer Karima Saïdi, exploring the intersection of collective history and personal narratives in Moroccan documentaries.
