Mark Consuelos, co-host of "Live With Kelly and Mark," has announced a major career shift to the stage, preparing for his Broadway debut. He will star in an upcoming production of Noël Coward's 1925 play "Fallen Angels," portraying the character Maurice Duclos.
The play, which centers on two women whose lives unravel as they await a man with romantic ties to both, begins previews on March 27 and officially opens on April 19 at New York City's Roundabout Theatre. Consuelos expressed excitement about returning to the stage after years away.
Adding to the family's theatrical presence, Consuelos' youngest son, Joaquin, a recent graduate of the University of Michigan School of Drama, will simultaneously perform on Broadway in "Death of a Salesman." This presents Kelly Ripa with the amusing challenge of choosing between attending her husband's or her son's performances.
