Mariah Carey's Daughter Considers Breaking Out on Her Own

According to a recent interview, Mariah Carey's 14-year-old daughter may be poised to embark on her own musical journey. The iconic singer, who is mother to twins Monroe and Moroccan, shared that her daughter has been showing a keen interest in music and has even joined Carey on her Christmas tour in the past.

However, Carey now says she's encouraging her daughter to "do her own thing" in the industry, suggesting the teen may be ready to step out from her famous mother's shadow. "My daughter's into music, and she likes music," Carey told the host. "She used to sing with me on my Christmas tour, but I don't know if she's doing it this year."

When asked if the 14-year-old is ready to break away and pursue her own musical aspirations, Carey responded, "I'm trying to get her to do her own thing. I think she wants to. So possibly." The singer, who shares her children with ex-husband Nick Cannon, has previously expressed her support for her twins' potential entertainment careers, stating that she's "happy for them" if they choose to follow in their parents' footsteps.

Carey's comments come amid reports of her children occasionally embarrassing her on social media and during her live appearances. The singer has shared that her twins have expressed discomfort with her posting family photos, and her son even asked her to leave the room while he was streaming on Twitch.
