Mansi Srivastava: From Villain to Heroine!

Actress Mansi Srivastava deliberately stepped away from playing negative characters to pursue positive roles, a move against the industry's tendency to typecast. After a nearly year-long hiatus, she secured a part in 'Lakshmi Niwas.' She had initially auditioned for a negative character in the same series but was later considered for a positive role, Revati, which she felt was fortunate.

Her distinctive green eyes had previously affected her career trajectory. Early on, she wore colored lenses to fit traditional lead heroine expectations, but found the practice uncomfortable and impractical for long shooting hours. Srivastava now believes that eye color should not limit an actor's opportunities.

Reflecting on her profession, Srivastava acknowledged the importance of financial stability, sometimes joking about pursuing a more conventional career. However, her passion for acting and being on set ultimately brings her back to the industry, emphasizing the need for continued visibility.
