The actor, who received a Special Jury Award for his performance in the film, expressed his deep connection to the project, which he described as having a "special place" in his cinematic journey.

Despite not qualifying for major mainstream awards, 'Pinjar' managed to earn two National Film Awards - one for 'Best Feature Film on National Integration' and the other for Bajpayee's acclaimed performance.
