The beloved 2006 comedy Bhagam Bhag is getting a sequel, titled Bhagam Bhag 2. Manoj Bajpayee has joined the cast, stepping into the role previously played by Govinda. He will star alongside returning actors Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal.
The new film is set to feature a completely new narrative, focusing on themes of mistaken identities and comic confusion that lead to escalating chaos. Meenakshi Chaudhary has been cast as the female lead opposite Akshay Kumar.
Raaj Shaandilya is directing Bhagam Bhag 2, taking over from the original director Priyadarshan, who is currently committed to other projects with Akshay Kumar. Akshay Kumar is expected to commence filming after completing his current commitments.
