Her journey has been profoundly shaped by her past relationship with Tom Kemp, the father of her late daughter, Consy. Kemp was incarcerated in 2020 after admitting to assaulting Andersson, an incident that left her with visible injuries. He received a 10-month sentence for the assault.

Kemp, who was released in December after serving three months, completed the remainder of his sentence under Home Detention Curfew. Consy, their daughter, tragically passed away in January 2019 at just one month old due to a heart defect. She was born prematurely at 33 weeks.

Andersson has spoken openly about her experiences, describing her relationship with Kemp as a "trauma bond" formed during her grief following her mother's death. She detailed instances of emotional and physical abuse, including food being thrown, being spat at, hit, and manipulated.

She revealed that Kemp had been in contact with another woman while their daughter was in intensive care. Andersson has stated her resolve not to be a victim of domestic violence, emphasizing the importance of self-love and trusting one's instincts.
