Maisie Williams sought supernatural aid for a film role by hiring an Etsy witch, but her mystical efforts ultimately did not lead to securing the part. Williams shared that she followed nightly rituals instructed by the witch, though the outcome was unsuccessful.

In addition to her casting spell, Williams discussed superstitions, including her discomfort with walking over three consecutive drains, a British belief associated with bad luck. She admits to adhering to this superstition to feel a sense of control over the uncontrollable.

Currently, Williams is starring in "Practical Magic 2," a film centered around a family of witches. She expressed admiration for her co-stars Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock, describing her experience as a "real sisterhood." Williams noted the film successfully blends nostalgia for the original with a modern update, reflecting changes in fashion and the world, and exploring character evolution.
