India's Next Ramayana Film Teased

Ahead of major cinematic adaptations, Mahakavya Shri Ramayan Katha - Shri Ram Ki, a bilingual film in Hindi and Chhattisgarhi, is scheduled for release on September 25, 2026. Directed by Abhishek Singh, the movie features Dev Sharma as Shri Ram and Anjali Arora as Mata Sita.

The film's initial promotional materials, including its poster and teaser, highlight core themes of duty, devotion, love, and sacrifice, centering on the relationship between the lead characters. The teaser offers glimpses of Ayodhya and the vanvaas journey, underscoring the epic's spiritual setting and human emotions.

Director Abhishek Singh stated that the Ramayana encompasses all human emotions, with Shri Ram and Mata Sita's journey embodying love, faith, and sacrifice. Dev Sharma and Anjali Arora shared their profound sense of responsibility in portraying these revered figures, aiming to connect with audiences through sincerity and devotion.
