Mahabharat Reborn: AI-Powered Epic to Premiere on WAVES OTT and Doordarshan in 2025

On October 9, 2025, Collective Media Network and Prasar Bharati announced an ambitious partnership to bring a next-generation, AI-powered retelling of India's greatest epic, Mahabharat, to modern audiences. The new series is set to premiere digitally on WAVES OTT on October 25, 2025, followed by a weekly telecast on Doordarshan starting November 2, 2025.

This collaborative effort combines the creative prowess of Collective Media Network with the nationwide reach of India's public broadcaster, Prasar Bharati. Using advanced AI tools, the show will reconstruct the grand world of the Mahabharat, including its characters, emotions, and epic battlefields, with cinematic detail and realism. The simultaneous digital and television release aims to bridge generations and reach audiences across India and around the world.
