Chris Nield, a construction supervisor from Married At First Sight, has confirmed his absence from the show's upcoming reunion finale. Nield, aged 31, suggested that producers excluded him due to his uncooperative and playful nature, joking that he is "a pain in the a**." He also indicated that his ex-on-screen bride, Brook Crompton, would not be present, making his inclusion seem unnecessary.

Nield further revealed his intention to cause chaos at the reunion by planning to deploy "fart bombs" during serious conversations. He acknowledged that this potential disruption likely contributed to the producers' decision, citing concerns about his "duty of care." Despite his exclusion, Nield stated there were no major fallouts with the production team. He noted that he was invited to another show by the same production company, EndemolShine Australia.
