Summary
- Madras High Court prohibited internet circulation of leaked movie.
- Movie producers filed a plea seeking a ban on online leaks.
- A previous plea challenging denial of censor certificate was withdrawn.

The Madras High Court has issued an injunction against the online and social media circulation of the leaked movie 'Jana Nayagan'. The producers of the film, K V N Productions LLP, had approached the court following the alleged leak of a high-definition print.
Justice Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy granted the interim order, prohibiting any further dissemination of the pirated content. The court has set June 2 for the next hearing of the case.
This development follows a series of legal actions concerning the film. Previously, on January 9, a single judge had directed the CBFC to issue a censor certificate for theatrical release. However, the producers decided to withdraw this plea before the single judge on February 10, leading to its dismissal.
