Maddie Prewett recently opened up about the profound anxiety she experienced during her time on The Bachelor, describing it as a "crazy experience" that pushed her to her limits.

Prewett, 29, detailed an episode where she felt so overcome with stress that she had to retreat to the bathroom to calm herself down. The surreal nature of seeing her follower count rise and social media buzz about her was an "out of body" experience, especially transitioning from a local church community to reality television fame.

Despite the public scrutiny, the support of her friends brought her peace, though she confessed to being unable to watch most episodes due to anxiety about her relationship's "uncertain ending" with Peter Weber. Hilariously, she recounted sneaking out after her hometown date to access a computer and email her loved ones for advice on whether to stay or break up with Weber.

Her family initially doubted the emails were from her, thinking her account had been hacked. Prewett has since found happiness, marrying Grant Troutt in 2022 and welcoming their daughter, Hosanna, in January 2025. Weber is reportedly dating actress Brooke Sill.
