Football Games Unite: Madden & College Football Reveal!
30 May
Summary
- Both Madden NFL 27 and College Football 27 revealed together.
- Games connected via player export and shared mechanics.
- Reveal event scheduled for Thursday, June 4.
This Thursday, June 4, EA will simultaneously unveil Madden NFL 27 and EA Sports College Football 27 during an event called "EA Sports Opening Drive." This marks a departure from previous years, where each title received individual announcements. Instead, this program will present the unified vision for both football games, highlighting their interconnected gameplay and innovations.
Over the past few iterations, EA has steadily built a more cohesive experience between the college and professional football simulations. Players can now develop a star in College Football, export them into Madden NFL, and continue their career journey. This pipeline has been refined, with Madden NFL 26 incorporating gameplay elements from its college counterpart.
Fans can anticipate details on cover athletes, new gameplay features, and enhanced cross-game connectivity during the reveal. Pre-order and release date information is also expected. Specific player ratings for Madden NFL 27 will likely be announced later in the summer.
