- Protagonists' psychological unravelling remains central to the plot.

Shakespeare's darkest tragedy, Macbeth, is reimagined with a satirical and comedic twist by Rajat Kapoor. Titled Macbeth: What's Done Is Done, this adaptation replaces the original's eerie witches with two clowns, Julio and Pedro. These characters frame the narrative as a play within a play, introducing slapstick and wit into the tale of ambition, guilt, and moral decay.
The play's protagonists, Macky B and his Lady, navigate a compelling story of psychological unravelling. The narrative begins with Macky B's encounter with the 'weird sisters' in the forest, whose prophecies ignite his ambition. Ranvir Shorey portrays Macky B's transformation from a nobleman to a ruthless usurper, driven by greed and guilt.
Throughout the performance, the concept of witches represents dark thoughts and temptations, guiding the story through prophecies, murders, and madness. Macky B's belief in his invincibility, bolstered by further cryptic prophecies after Banquo's demise, ultimately leads to his violent downfall when these predictions turn against him.
