Four years after the previous season's events, Lupin returns for its fourth installment, premiering on October 23, 2026. Omar Sy reprises his role as Assane Diop, a gentleman thief inspired by Arsène Lupin. Despite being incarcerated in a maximum-security prison, Assane's plans for a quiet sentence are disrupted when a series of simultaneous museum heists occur, all seemingly orchestrated by him.
The logline indicates that despite enhanced security, the thefts are successful. Assane vehemently denies involvement, but evidence, including a camera showing him at one of the crime scenes and Captain Belkacem being seriously injured, points to his guilt. To clear his name and unmask the true perpetrator, Assane must escape prison and resume his iconic Lupin guise.
Returning alongside Sy are Ludivine Sagnier as Claire Laurent, Antoine Gouy as Benjamin Férel, Soufiane Guerrab as Youssef Guédira, and Shirine Boutella as Sofia Belkacem. The season also welcomes new cast members, including Théo Christine, who plays an older version of Assane's son, Raoul Diop, reflecting a time jump. Brice Derouéné joins as a younger Benjamin Férel, Agustín Bruzzone as a douanier (Customs Officer), Laïka Blanc-Francard in an unspecified role, and Noah Pierre D. as Samuel, appearing in three episodes.
